I tried to fix my phone on my own and have it partially disassembled. Can I bring it to you to finish the repair?
Absolutely. Bring your phone to us, and one of our expert technicians will perform a diagnostic service. We’ll provide you with a quote before beginning any work.

Mail-In Repairs and Shipping
Do you need my device passcode?
Yes, we do. A passcode allows us to test all the functions of your device thoroughly. If you prefer not to provide your passcode, please note that certain functions like the camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth cannot be fully tested or guaranteed.
Do you offer any type of warranty on your repairs?
Yes, we provide a 90-day warranty on all parts and repair services, subject to the exclusions and limitations detailed in our Repair Terms of Service. Please see our Repair Terms of Service for full details.
Liquid Damage Service
Does the liquid damage service include logic board replacement?
Due to its high cost, the logic board is the only part not included in the liquid damage service. If the logic board is irreparably damaged, we can replace the Motherboard/logic board as a last resort.
I dropped my phone in salt water. Is it worth sending it in?
Absolutely. Salt water is corrosive and can be very damaging, but we still have a good chance of repairing it. If we can’t, you’ll be refunded the repair cost, minus the cost of return shipping if applicable.
What should I do if my device falls into water or another liquid?
First, do not attempt to turn the device on as it could cause a serious short circuit. Do not try to charge it. Next, send the device in for our liquid damage service as soon as possible. The longer the battery is plugged in, the less of a chance there is to repair it. The sooner we receive it, the higher the chance we can repair it.
My device fell into liquid, should I let it dry out to see if it works before I send it in?
It’s possible that a device might start working on its own, but it’s uncommon. Corrosion can form on the logic board, making repairs more difficult. We recommend sending it in as soon as possible, even if it’s still wet.
My device was dropped in liquid, and now everything seems to work fine except for one function. Do I still need the full liquid damage service?
Probably. Even if only one function isn’t working, it could be caused by multiple factors. Liquid damage is tricky, which is why we offer a service specifically tailored to address it.
How long does the liquid damage service generally take?
That would depend on what type of liquid, how long ago it happened, and if you've tried to charge or use it after the liquid incident occurred.
What if you are unable to repair my liquid-damaged device?
If we’re unable to repair your device, we would only charge the diagnostic fee, cost of return shipping if applicable, and return your device. If you prefer not to have the device returned, please let us know, and we will recycle it at our facility. In this instance, there would be no charge.
Do you offer a warranty on the liquid damage service?
We do not offer a warranty on repairs for liquid damage.
Glass & LCD Replacement Service
I dropped my phone and now it’s unresponsive to touch. Will the screen repair fix this?
Yes, the screen repair includes digitizer replacement, which is responsible for touch functionality. This will correct any unresponsiveness caused by the drop.
The glass on my phone is completely shattered and chipping off. Is the screen repair service all I need?
Yes, if the only issue with your phone is a broken screen. The screen repair service will replace the entire glass face, so the extent of the previous damage doesn’t matter.
Do you offer a warranty on screen repair services?
Yes, we provide at least a 90-day limited warranty on screen repair parts and services, subject to the exclusions and limitations detailed in our Repair Terms of Service. Please see our Repair Terms of Service for full details.
Repair Locations
Do you have any retail locations where I can bring my device for repair?
Yes, we have five locations in NC. Please check our contact us page to find the one nearest to you. If there isn’t one nearby, feel free to use our mail-in service.
Can my device be repaired while I wait in one of your locations?
We stock thousands of parts, but can't possibly stock everything. For the devices that we have the parts on hand, most repairs are completed in an hour or less. If we have to order parts, we can have it as soon as the next business day.
Do I need to make an appointment to bring my device to one of your repair locations?
No appointment is needed. Just drop by during our hours of operation, and we’ll take care of you.
Financing with Acima
1. How does Acima financing work?
Acima offers a flexible lease-to-own option that allows you to get your device repaired or purchase a used device with as little as $10 down. You make affordable payments over time instead of paying the full amount upfront.
2. What are the eligibility requirements for Acima financing?
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
-Minimum monthly income of $1,000.Have a physical bank account (not an online-only bank like Chime).
-Must have an ACH-enabled checking account (savings accounts and money market accounts do not qualify).
-Your bank account must have a rolling three-month history with no NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fees, no overdrafts, and no returned items.
3. Does Acima check my credit score?
Acima performs a soft credit pull, which means applying does not impact your credit score. However, if you fail to make payments, it could negatively affect your credit.
4. How do I apply for Acima financing?
The application process is simple! The fastest way to apply is by Text. Alternatively, feel free to visit us at an iFixNC location where we can guide you through the application process.. You can also apply online through www.acima.com. We’ll guide you through the application process. Approval decisions are typically made the same day, allowing you to complete your purchase or get your device repaired as soon as you're approved.

5. How does Acima verify my identity?
Acima pulls a consumer report under the Patriot Act to verify your identity and prevent fraud. If you receive an automatic denial due to incorrect answers on the identity quiz, you can reapply and correct your response for another chance at approval.
6. Can I use Acima financing for all repairs and device purchases at iFixNC?
Yes! Acima can be used for device repairs, used devices, and other eligible purchases at iFixNC. Contact us to confirm eligibility for specific items.
7. What happens if I’m approved for more than I need?
If you’re approved for a higher amount (e.g., $2,000) but initially use only a portion (e.g., $500), you can call Acima to request the remaining amount to be added to your current lease. Approval for additional funds is determined case by case.
8. Is Acima a revolving line of credit?
No, Acima does not function like a credit card. Once your lease is paid off, you will need to reapply for a new lease if you want to use Acima again. However, if you establish a good payment history, Acima may periodically send you pre-approved offers for future financing.
9. Can I pay off my lease early?
Yes! Acima offers early purchase options, which can help you save money compared to making payments for the full lease term. You can pay off your balance at any time.
10. Is Acima available for customers with no credit or bad credit?
Yes! Acima looks beyond traditional credit scores. If you meet the income and banking history requirements, you can still be approved even with limited or bad credit history.
11. What happens if I miss a payment?
If you anticipate missing a payment, contact Acima as soon as possible. They may offer options to help you stay on track. Keep in mind that missed payments can affect your lease agreement and future financing eligibility.
